Productive American Pot Smoker
Hey Greenkickers,
Back to posting again after a short hiatus. Out in the world I’ve been connecting with other intelligent, articulate, confident, entrepreneurial, marijuana smokers.
My dream of moving from Oregon to California and becoming immersed within the inner Emerald Circle of marijuana business people has officially happened. I’ve been bringing my marketing expertise and business skills from my MBA and utilizing them within the medical marijuana arena. It is has been inspring meeting so many dedicated, hardworking, driven, daily smokers who are accomplishing big things here in California. I feel fortunate to be kickin it with some of the best growers, budtenders, dispensary owners, and entrepeneurs in California.
I am proud to be a productive smoker. I have smoked daily for years, earned my Masters in Business Administration, opened multiple businesses, and helped others in their start up efforts. In previous roles I was the number 2 sales rep in the nation for a fortune 100 company, a top producer of a call-center in Oregon, and a national recruitment award winner during college. I like to joke and poke fun of the Cheech and Chong stoner sterotypes as much as the next guy. At the end of the day though, I would like everyone out there to know that smoking marijuana helps me in my life and has not hindered my success.

It is crazy how many people are dieing from alcohol abuse and yet alcohol roams free while our safe little plant mary jane is inching forward from the darkness trying to become fully legal.
Everybody who has taken a critical look, has known for a long time that marijuana is safe. Just go back in time and ask the DEA. Remember back in 1988 when, DEA administrative judge Francis Young recommended legalizing marijuana? No? Well me either really because I was three at the time, or stoned I forget.
Anyways, Francis said “Marijuana, in it’s natural form, is one of the safest therapeutically active substances known to man kind.” Wise words Francis… That’s something I usually never say about a member of the DEA. Let us smoke our safe little plant! We promise we won’t smoke the 80 lbs all at once necessary to overdose….. 😉

How to tell if your Marijuana was properly flushed

Haha! Just read this on facebook and had to repost it here. I’ve seen this roaming around the web a few places. It was funny growing up in America watching high school and college age smokers learn the metric system for the first time with a trusty scale.

Today we are chilling with some friends smoking and just casually discussing legalization and weed. Typical stoner conversation and it’s bringing a lot of dejavu. Of course we talk about our ability to legally grow our own marijuana as medical patients. This is awesome!
Today we are watching in awe as beautiful plants grow. It’s great to watch their progress week after week stopping by for a sesh’, even if they aren’t my own green babies. So many strides have occurred in the world of marijuana. It is a shame the green goddess has been avidly scandalized and prosecuted for most of my life.
Watching some clones chill and Mr. all natural organic Big Bubba Kush start to flower is a natural peaceful sight.
Being able to legally grow and respect cannabis to it’s fullest is a blessing. It is time to take it a step further and fully legalize the plant we all know and love. Cannabis and hemp were essential to our great nation’s founding and economy. Let our nation rise from the ashes of recession with our jade founding father: Cannabis.

Kickin’ back vaping some Snowcap from my silver surfer vaporizer and life feels great. It’s still very surreal being here in California. I’m an Oregon Transplant enjoying the benefits of my freshly minted California Medical Marijuana doctor’s recommendation. The first trip was out of this world. I remember sitting in the parking lot of the doctor’s office, grasping my paper holy grail of legalization whilst feeling euphoric waves surge out to my entire body. Next stop… dispensary. A quick click on my trusty tech sidekick (hooray smart phone) and I wound my way to one of many dispensaries in Santa Ana. As they examine my paperwork I can smell the piney hoppy sweet sensation of cannabis seeping through the walls. Walking into a world of experiences trapped in glass. Each toke a new journey. A moment’s respite just a bic flick away. Lights showcasing sativas, indicas, and hybrids. Smiling budtenders and customers. Atms, music, air conditioning and cash registers. Dings, whrrs, and printing of receipts integral to the feeling of acceptance in this place. For me this small moment felt like an immense victory. Ever since this inaugural run I have been living the greenkick life and feeling more embraced by California. For now the vape is hot and inspiration is high.
